Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers that we are actively monitoring Hurricane Sally.
Hurricane Sally is currently south of New Orleans, Louisiana, and is on a northwest track. The Port of New Orleans closed today at 12:00 PM CDT and will remain closed Tuesday, September 15.
The M/V Nordbaltic Voyage 35, previously scheduled to call New Orleans tomorrow, will not call due Hurricane Sally and the subsequent port closure. The vessel will proceed to its Houston call, which will also conclude the voyage. The next vessel, scheduled to call the Port of New Orleans Sunday, September 20, will be M/V AS Petra Voyage 18.
As the storm’s trajectory and strength continue to evolve, we will continue to provide updates as developments occur. The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.
