Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Delta and Tropical Storm Gamma. The storms have begun to affect our operations and will likely continue throughout this week.

Tropical Storm Delta has formed in the Caribbean and is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane before moving toward the US Gulf coast later this week, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Tropical Storm Gamma is currently moving over the Yucatan; however, the storm’s effects reach across Mexico, Central America, and Cuba.

The M/V AS Petra Voyage 19 northbound and Voyage 20 southbound scheduled to arrive in New Orleans on Sunday, October 11, has been canceled due to inclement weather along the ship’s voyage.

The M/V Seaboard Atlantic Voyage 388 arrived at Puerto Cortes, Honduras, on Sunday, October 4, as scheduled. However, due to inclement weather conditions, the port is closed. The vessel is still at anchorage, waiting for the port to reopen. Expect delays for the northbound voyage.

The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.

We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the 2020 Hurricane Season.
