Seaboard Marine has added 1,370 new state-of-the-art refrigerated cargo containers to our dynamic equipment fleet over the past two months. Built to Seaboard Marine’s exacting specifications, the new forty-foot containers will meet our refrigerated import and export customers’ growing needs across the Americas.
Executive Vice President Bruce Brecheisen said, “Our goal is to continue providing the most modern, high-quality, energy-efficient, and reliable equipment to all our customers, especially those moving perishables, as part of our ongoing commitment to providing unparalleled service.”
To reduce our carbon footprint and ensure our units surpass industry-leading standards for low energy consumption and lower emissions, we have invested in over six thousand (6,000) new refrigerated cargo containers in the last five years. Seaboard Marine’s equipment fleet now contains over ten thousand (10,000) forty-foot refrigerated containers including a subset equipped with controlled atmosphere technology.
