Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers we are actively monitoring hurricane Eta as it makes landfall in Nicaragua.

According to the National Hurricane Center, slow-moving Eta will bring strong winds and heavy rainfall. Portions of the Honduran and Nicaraguan coasts remain under a hurricane warning.

Both our offices in Honduras and Nicaragua are open today.
However, due to weather conditions, the port in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, is closed. At this time, trucking operations have been suspended until conditions improve. Delays in operations are to be expected.

The M/V Patriot Voyage 254 is waiting for weather conditions to improve in Puerto Cortes before it can berth and commence cargo operations.

As Eta’s path continues to develop, we will continue to monitor and provide updates as developments occur.

The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.

We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during this active 2020 Hurricane Season.
