Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers of Tropical Storm Eta’s impact as we continue to track the storm.
The center of the storm remains slightly west of southwest Florida and is currently not impacting the Miami area. All of our Miami facilities, including the PortMiami terminal, are fully open.
Multiple vessels have been discharged and loaded at our PortMiami facility over the past 36 hours. For details on the updated vessel schedule, please contact your Seaboard Marine representative.
Puerto Cortes, Honduras, and Santo Tomas, Guatemala, are open for vessel and terminal operations. Trucking operations in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua have largely resumed with few exceptions, mostly in Guatemala, as road and bridge conditions gradually improve following widespread flooding after last week’s historic rainfalls.
As Eta’s path continues to develop, we will continue to monitor and provide updates on operations and the vessel’s status as developments occur.
The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.
We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during this active 2020 Hurricane Season.
