Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers of an Energy Charge Increase in Savannah, Georgia, effective September 12, 2021.

The charge applicable to all tariff and service contracts is as follows:

Export Cargo 2 Working Days And $175/Day Thereafter

Import Cargo 3 Working Days And $175/Day Thereafter

No free time shall be granted for operating refrigerated containers held at the terminal over any weekend or GPA holiday period. For operating refrigerated containers that remain on the terminal over any Saturday or Sunday or GPA holiday, a charge of $600 per day shall apply. The free time and daily Energy Charge rate shall resume.

Please be reminded that for export cargo, customers should only deliver containers on or after the Earliest Return Date (ERD) as specified in the Seaboard Marine booking confirmation and no later than the cargo cut-off date. Import cargo must be removed from the terminal before the weekend or holiday to avoid the weekend Energy Charge.

As always, we thank you for your continued support.
