Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Grace, which has strengthened to a tropical storm while moving through the Caribbean.
The ports, our terminals, and offices in the Dominican Republic have resumed normal operations this morning.
The Tropical Storm Watch has been lifted for Haiti. Our office in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the port, and our terminal at Lafito are open today and operating normally.
A Tropical Storm Warning is currently in effect for Jamaica. Our offices in Kingston and Montego Bay closed today at 12:30 PM. The cargo terminals are currently only processing customers who are physically there while the situation is being monitored.
A Tropical Storm Warning is currently in effect for the Cayman Islands. The port and our office in Georgetown closed at 1:00 PM.
The ports, our terminals, and offices in Mexico are open as the situation is being monitored. There is an increasing risk of wind, rainfall, and storm surge impacts in the Yucatan Peninsula Thursday, and the area is likely to be placed under a Hurricane Watch later today. If the storm continues on its current trajectory, our offices and operations in Puerto Morelos may be affected.
