Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers of a roadblock that began yesterday preventing containers from entering or exiting the terminal at Puerto Cortes, Honduras. Truck drivers protesting proposed changes to gate regulations have congregated near the port entrance. As of 11:00 AM EST today, the roadblock continues to obstruct the movement of all cargo.
The safety of our staff and our customer’s cargo is our top priority. Seaboard Marine will continue to monitor the situation and release information as it becomes available.
