Due to weather-related work stoppages and severe port congestion affecting the cargo moving to or from Puerto Cortes, Honduras, Port of Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala, and within Guatemala, cargo movement to and from North Central America is severely restricted. It is currently unknown when conditions on roadways and port facilities will improve.

Due to this force majeure event and the continuing circumstances in Honduras and Guatemala, Seaboard Marine and its local partners are restricted from transporting cargo during our regular fixed-day weekly sailings. The affected cargo includes cargo destined to and from North Central America from vessel(s) and land borders and cargo being moved by truck within the region. The current restrictions on cargo movement will continue until local circumstances at port facilities improve.

Cargo interests with perishable cargo destined to be shipped to and from via Puerto Cortes and Port of Santo Tomas de Castilla are urged to advise their respective cargo insurers of the circumstances.

Seaboard Marine will keep you advised of developments and apologize for any inconvenience that may result. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Seaboard Marine customer service representative.

As always, we thank you for your continued support.
