Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that on April 9, 2023, the Barbados Port Inc. will begin operating as a full free out port and assume the responsibilities of stevedoring at the Port of Bridgetown, resulting in adjustments in freight charges to our customers. One such adjustment is the elimination of the Barbados Port Charge of $180 per TEU; the second adjustment will be the reduction of the base ocean freight charge of $80 per TEU on cargoes to and from said port. These adjustments will become effective on April 2, 2023.
