Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers:

Seaboard Marine is a CTPAT-certified carrier; therefore, all shippers are required under the CTPAT regulations to tender or accept containers for international shipment only with high-security seals that meet or exceed ISO17712 standards. Customers and their representatives, such as warehouse and logistics providers, are solely responsible for adequately affixing compliant seal(s) to load containers, which are high-security seals that meet or exceed ISO17712 standards

For containers tendered to Seaboard Marine with seals that do not meet the CTPAT requirement, Seaboard Marine will add a high-security seal that meets or exceeds ISO17712 standards at a charge of $25 per seal.

Customers and their representatives are also reminded that a complete and accurate list of seal number(s) must be provided to Seaboard Marine on the final shipping instructions in a timely manner. Delays, detention, charges, fines, and penalties arising from non-compliant seals and/or inaccurate seal number(s) appearing on the shipping documentation will be assessed to the cargo interests.

Please do hesitate to contact your Seaboard Marine representative if you have any questions regarding these requirements.

As always, we thank you for your continued support.
