Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that the increase to the Guatemala Terminal Handling charge, previously announced on August 13, 2020, on all cargo imported or exported via Santo Tomas, Guatemala, has been postponed until September 27, 2020.
The increase is due to a government-imposed x-ray charge on all northbound and southbound cargo originating or transiting through Santo Tomas, Guatemala. The charge will also apply on cargo in transit to/from El Salvador via Santo Tomas, Guatemala.
The charge, applicable to all tariff and service contracts, is as follows:
