Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers of the following information, as provided by the New Orleans Port Authority:

Hurricane Ida brought significant wind damage across the City of New Orleans and surrounding areas. The entire city and surrounding area remain without power at this time. The Seaboard Marine office in New Orleans remains closed.

Until damage assessments and restoration efforts are completed, and timelines are better defined, the timeframe for resuming operations is unknown to us due to the uncertainty of when electricity will be restored.

New Orleans Terminal will be closed until more information is known and power is restored. The Mississippi River could be open later this week but likely with daylight only restrictions.

Seaboard Marine is monitoring further developments very closely. At this time, the following vessel is impacted.
