Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers of the following information, mostly provided today by the New Orleans Port Authority.
New Orleans and the surrounding area remain without power at this time. The Seaboard Marine office in New Orleans remains closed.
Until damage assessments and restoration efforts are completed and timelines are better defined, the timeframe for resuming operations remains unknown to us due to the uncertainty of when electricity will be restored.
New Orleans Terminal operations are currently closed but preparing for limited gate and terminal operations early next week.
The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.
