Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Grace which has strengthened to a hurricane, while it moves through the Caribbean towards the Yucatan Peninsula.
The ports, terminals, and offices in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica are operating normally as of this morning.
A Tropical Storm Warning is still in effect for the Cayman Islands. The port and our office in George Town, Grand Cayman, remain closed today.
Our office in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, as well as the port, is open today. The eastern Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico is under a Hurricane Warning. Hurricane conditions are expected later tonight. The terminal at Puerto Morelos will be closed tomorrow.
As Grace’s path evolves, we will continue to monitor and provide updates as developments occur.
