Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers we are tracking Hurricane Zeta as it moves towards the U.S. Gulf Coast.

According to the National Hurricane Center, hurricane conditions are expected later this afternoon and evening along the southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi coasts.

All New Orleans port facilities are closed today, with an anticipated reopening tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, when the storm has safely passed.

The M.V. Nordbaltic Voyage 38 departed New Orleans yesterday afternoon. Delays are expected due to Zeta’s trajectory, as this ship keeps a safe distance from the hurricane on its southbound voyage.

The M/V Seaboard Atlantic Voyage 391 is currently sailing northbound from Central America to Miami. Having kept a safe distance from Zeta earlier this week, the vessel will arrive in Miami later this evening.

The M/V Seaboard Patriot Voyage 253 will arrive in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, later this afternoon.

This is likely our final advisory on Zeta.

We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during this active 2020 Hurricane Season.
