Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers we are tracking Tropical Storm Beta as it approaches the U.S. Gulf Coast.
As Beta’s path continues to develop, and in anticipation of a possible landfall in Southeast Texas later this evening, we will continue to monitor and provide updates as developments occur.
The Houston ship channel is currently under condition “Zulu,” which has been imposed by the U.S. Coast Guard. This condition prohibits the movement of vessels throughout the channel. However, the Jacintoport cargo terminal is open for receiving and dispatching of containers and is functioning normally. All Seaboard vessels remain on schedule at this time.
The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.
