Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Fred as it moves through the Caribbean.

A Tropical Storm Warning is currently in effect for the Dominican Republic. Our office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is currently closed. Effective 2:00 PM EDT, terminal services have been suspended with the exception of container receiving. The port terminal is closed for operations. Vessel operations have been suspended until further notice in both Rio Haina and Puerto Plata.

The M/V AS Samanta Voyage 47 arrived in Rio Haina this morning.
The M/V Pauline Voyage 14 is due in Rio Haina later today.
The M/V Ingred Voyage 13 is due in Puerto Plata today.

Our office in Port Au Prince, Haiti, as well as the port and terminal in Port Lafito, are open today.

PortMiami is open today while under U.S. Coast Guard readiness condition “Whiskey,” which accelerates our preparations to protect our facilities, equipment, and cargo.

As Fred’s path evolves, we will continue to monitor and provide updates as developments occur.

The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.

We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the 2021 Hurricane Season.
