Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Grace which has weakened to a tropical storm, while it moves across the Yucatan Peninsula towards the Gulf of Mexico.

The Tropical Storm Warning has been lifted for the Cayman Islands. Our office in George Town, Grand Cayman, reopened earlier today. The port remains closed while damages are being assessed and vessel delays are to be expected.

The port and terminal at Puerto Morelos, Mexico, is closed today. Our office remains open. The eastern Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico is under a Tropical Storm Warning. A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Puerto Veracruz northward to Cabo Rojo.

As Grace’s path evolves, we will continue to monitor and provide updates as developments occur.

The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.

We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the 2021 Hurricane Season.
