Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers of an increase to the Government Inspection Fee effective January 10, 2021.
Effective January 10, 2021, all container loads where the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) performs a Tailgate inspection on import refrigerated containers discharging from South Florida ports, the following fee will apply:
South Florida Tailgate Government Inspection Fee – $175.00 Per container
Container loads of mixed flowers (requiring manipulation) – $375.00 per container
This terminal charge is inclusive of segregating and positioning the container (s) as directed by the USDA for inspection. If further action is required by USDA, additional charges will apply.
